Mishaal’s dance background began at the tender age of four, when she began studying ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, and modern dance. While attending college, she first saw a belly dancer perform at a local restaurant. She was immediately intrigued and was determined to learn this beautiful art. After her first belly dance class, fell in love with it instantly!
Over the years, Mishaal has studied Tribal Fusion and American Cabaret under Aviva Khadra, Isis, Trinity and Daniela. She has participated in workshops with Elisheva of Long Island and Aradia of Las Vegas.
Mishaal performs at various fundraisers, events, and venues in the New York metropolitan area and is currently a member of Daniela Dance Company in Queens and Sands of Desire. She also shares her love of belly dance with her students on Long Island at Dany Holdstein Two Worlds Studio and Center Stage of Performing Arts Studio (Class Schedule Coming Soon). Mishaal specializes in Egyptian, Lebanese, Turkish, Tribal and Gypsy dancing. She actively performs with candles, cane, fan veil, isis wings, veil, sword, and zills (finger cymbals).
